Our Origins...

Our practice was founded in 1967 by Kevin and Margaret Thompson. Originally a Life Insurance agency, the business later expanded into Superannuation and General Insurance.

Kevin & Margaret's son Greg joined the business in 1987 and progressively introduced Financial Planning services. Greg purchased the business in the early 1990's.

In 1994 Adam Greentree joined the business as Office Manager, moving into full time Financial Planning as the business grew. As Kevin retired, Adam became the second full time planner, and in 1999 he and his wife Virginia (who is also Kevin & Margaret's daughter), purchased 20% equity.

In November 2000 Greg lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on his way home from a client meeting. Adam and Virginia subsequently purchased the remaining 80% of the business and are now the full time shareholders and proprietors of the business.

In May 2005 the business moved to larger premises at 26 Sowerby Street in Muswellbrook, adjacent to the Muswellbrook Marketplace.

Current Structure...

TFS Group Pty Ltd currently employs 8 team members:

Virginia Greentree is the Business Manager and is responsible for the day to day management of the business.

Adam Greentree & Phil Bamback are our Financial Planners, and they spend their time meeting with clients and providing the necessary services to assist them to meet their financial objectives.

Taryn Hayne, Jackie Rose, Michelle Reichert, Maureen Nicol & Cath Langford are our Support Staff. They perform all administrative functions in the business necessary to provide the highest quality service to our clients.

Taryn is presently moving into a role where she will be providing advice on a day to day basis.
